Somehow the summer is flying by...I'm not sure exactly what we are doing to seem so busy, but it always feels like we are running around doing something. We have been spending lots of time swimming now that Nora "remembered" how to swim and Xander decided he like the water after all. This year was a wonderful Fourth of July holiday. We got to see Grandmom, Aunt Anita, Jason and Sarai and their kiddos, and Uncle Danny and Aunt Sheila. And, of course, Gigi, Pop, and Camille. We didn't get to stay long, but it was a nice visit while it lasted. Nora was feeling bad, so we had to make our annual July 4th weekend trip to the minor med...good times. We had a great Sunday School lesson on patience and a very nice sermon from Brother Jim on Sunday. Later that afternoon, we enjoyed a crab boil with the Senatobia girls and their families...the Bradys and the Princes. We missed you Norris family! Hopefully Melissa will send me some of her pictures that she took with her brand new fancy digital SLR camera. :) I didn't take even one picture, unfortunately. The kids had so much fun playing together, and later Andrew told me that he had not heard me laugh that hard in a while. What a great day.
On the 4th, we cooked out lunch with the Robertses and the McMillins (most of them). Delicious food and good company. Then we went to the Malones for our Fourth of July tradition watching the Germantown fireworks from their front yard. Lots of fun, although the Windsor kids started getting a little grumpy on us towards the end. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend.
