For fall break and to celebrate Pop and Kristen's birthdays, we took a long weekend trip to the Ouachita River in Mt. Ida, Arkansas. We had a terrific house in the woods that backed up to a section of the Womble Trail and was by the river. We hiked, searched for crystals, hunted out little wildlife, played in the river, and just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. It was a wonderful weekend. We all had such a great time that we are hoping to go back and stay longer. There is just so much to do there! Nora really wants to go back to ride horses and catch some fish. :) There are just so many pictures I want to share from our trip, that it is impossible to get it down to a few...we took over 600! Here are some of our pictures from our super fun family trip.
