blogging about our wonderful day

Today was such a busy day, but I want to blog about it because it was a good day.  Xander and I took Nora to school this morning and then went to the big backyard with Stacey and Fletcher.  It was Xander's first really only-for-Xander, not little-brother-tagging-along playdate.  That's a pretty big deal in my book.  It took a few minutes for the boys to warm up to each other, but they had a blast when they did.  Little boy playdates are so fun...and exhausting, right Stacey? :)  We ran around the entire time chasing those little stinkers.  It was wonderful to see them having so much fun, and I had a great time catching up with my friend, too. We are definitely going to have to make that a regular thing.

The evening was an exciting one...Andrew's brother, his sister, and two nephews came for dinner!  This was very exciting because it has been years since the three of them were all together.  It was so nice to spend some time getting reacquainted, and Nora and Xander loved playing with their cousins.  We had such a nice visit, and we hope to see more of all of them very soon.
