I was so excited about a relaxing weekend. And that was exactly what it was. :) A birthday party, pizza with friends, board games inside on a rainy Sunday afternoon...the only thing that wasn't wonderful was Xander's scratchy throat and cough that started sounded bad on Sunday. Poor little guy. That didn't stop him from begging (with a little coaching from his big sister) to go to the zoo on Monday, since it was rainy out on Sunday. Monday was so absolutely beautiful outside that Andrew and I were easily convinced that we needed to spend a day running around the zoo. And to top it all off, dinner with the Robertses Monday night. If only every weekend could be a 3 day weekend for the entire family...:)
